POSEYVILLE, IN (October 12, 2023)  – Nix Companies is proud to announce the addition of Matt Weinzapfel, President & Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Jasper Engines & Transmissions, to its Board of Advisory. Matt’s extensive experience and remarkable leadership journey at Jasper Engines & Transmissions make him a valuable addition to the Nix Companies team.

Starting as an intern in branch auditing and accounting, Matt rose through significant roles, including General Manager of JASPER’s Crawford County operations and General Manager of Gas and Diesel Engine operations for both the Jasper and Crawford facilities, enhancing operational efficiency and quality. His dedication to process improvement led to a role in the JASPER Production System. Recognized for his contributions, Matt served as Diesel Division Manager and became Vice President in Engine Manufacturing in 2022, ultimately attaining the position of Chief Operating Officer, solidifying his reputation as an accomplished executive in the automotive industry.

In his new role on the Nix Companies Board of Advisory, Matt Weinzapfel will contribute his wealth of experience, industry knowledge, and strategic perspective to help guide the company’s growth and development.
